Junior Explorer!
Hidalgo County is home to 10 world-renown parks with unique ecosystems that attract a wide variety of plants, birds, and other wildlife.
Beginning this summer, you will have the opportunity to discover each park with your
Junior Explorer Passport.
Part of your goal will be to engage with your local parks and get an understanding
of the beauty they offer.
Make sure you go with a responsible adult to each park. Upon visiting all of the destinations listed, the Junior Explorer is invited to visit the Hidalgo County Judge’s Office after August 1, at 100 E Cano St., Edinburg, TX 78539 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to collect a surprise!
